Jeanie Marie Buss was born in America. She is the owner and director of Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss is a California born and raised in an affluent family. Jerry Buss, her father was a successful entrepreneur with a real estate business who later eventually became the proprietor of Lakers Sports and Entertainment. When she was in the year 1972, her parents broke up together and she felt abandoned. When she was 19 years old she inherited management of the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as their General Manager. Then she founded her own Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. She served as the president of the Great Western Forum before assuming the duties of the vice-president for the Lakers. Buss along with her five siblings and brothers as well as their father who owned the Lakers and controlled them until the time of his death in 2013, inherited the ownership via a trust. They each had equal the right to vote. In 2013, she took charge of Los Angeles Lakers. Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-owner of Women of Wrestling, a professional wrestling promotion with headquarter within Los Angeles.
